Case Study: Basecamp

One of my absolute favorite projects from recent years was Basecamp, a blended learning/in-person onboarding and level-setting experience I designed for AuthenticID. A highly engaging, active learning experience that level sets AID employees on culture, business, and core solutions, we achieved 100% CSAT from all cohorts who completed the program.

Modeled after The Amazing Race, it began with pre-work to help participants prepare for the in-person event and especially the challenges.

Case Study: Beta Release

The co-founders of Japhy.ai were about to release their beta, in anticipation of the upcoming ATD 2024 conference in New Orleans. They hired me to conduct a user experience test of the beta functionality.

I examined both assigned roleplays and created a custom roleplay from an existing sales script I had available from another client. I was able to provide actionable feedback well ahead of the conference.

Case Study: QUIVR app

I met Amber Simon, the founder of QUIVR, through participating in a virtual Demo Days event and recording her pitch. I was so impressed with what she was building that I reached out to HER and offered my assistance.

Within a very short time we were able to come together and begin rapidly prototyping the content to be included on the first release of the QUIVR app, as well as build a sustainable, mutually beneficial working relationship.

Case Study: Far-Transfer Training - What It Is and How You Do It virtual sesh

On July 11, 2024, I conducted a live virtual interactive session on far-transfer training, an instructional approach popularized by Ruth Clark, to create effective learning experiences for tasks that are NOT procedural (step-by-step) in nature; think troubleshooting, strategies, guidelines, best practices, the type of work that varies depending on the context or situation.

Of the 31 registered participants, 19 attended the live event and the remaining accessed a time-limited recording of the session. It was well-received and several people asked for a recurring series.

Case Study: What Is Learning Fireside Chat

On October 24, 2024, I conducted a live virtual interactive fireside chat, discussing what learning and development means in corporate settings, as it relates to career development, as well as other reasons for learning.

It was a lively chat and excellent networking opportunity for those who attended in person, and also functions as a model of proven practices for facilitating live virtual training that empowers everyone to participate through simple and readily available chat functionality.
